A Community that Cares

Congregation B'nai Yisrael, through its Rabbis and Cantor, the Social Action and Caring Committees, and many of our member famlies, seeks to live out one of the imperatives of Judaism--to work for a better world. By sponsoring many activities and events from raising funds for an ambulance for Israel to giving blood, the temple hopes to contribute to the immediate community and the community at large.

We encourage our entire congregation to become involved in offering outreach to one another and to those outside our community who are in need. Rabbi Krantz and others in the congregation serve in the Armonk Volunteer Fire Department and Emergency Medical Service. Other members serve on the Town Council, the School Board, Library Board, and various local clubs and organizations.
