Our Mission:

Congregation B’nai Yisrael is the Jewish home we share. We are a
community creating positive experiences with individuals of every age. Congregation B'nai Yisrael is our spiritual center, where together, our family of families celebrates, commemorates, worships, learns, nurtures, gives, and grows. We constantly strive to achieve the beauty that comes from experiencing the world through Jewish eyes.

Congregation B'nai Yisrael is a warm and vibrant community of individuals, families, clergy, and staff coming together to celebrate a rich Jewish heritage. This is a place for adults as well as children to make friends and share in a common vision of bringing Judaism into the life of each member in a personal, tangible and relevant way. We think of ourselves as an extended Jewish family that is community-based and oriented, creating a wonderful climate of cooperation and understanding with our town of Armonk, New York.

A rewarding Jewish experience for all ages is the central focus for our congregation whether it be through our weekly Friday night services, our holiday celebrations, programs for our children and their families for Developing Jewish Identity—organized to imbue our children with the values and traditions of Judaism—or our Adult Education Program, which includes Torah study, night classes, and lunch and learn sessions with the Rabbis in a central location in New York City.

As a caring community, Congregation B'nai Yisrael is committed to helping our neighbors and one another through our Social Action and Caring Committees. Finally, we also have an active and exciting social calendar providing many types of gatherings for all to enjoy.
