Sarah Ruderman, Director of Jewish Identity Development

Sarah Ruderman, a native of Andover, MA is just finishing out her studies in the Education program at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York. Sarah has a degree in Theater Arts from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA where she was active in the College Hillel, many theatrical productions and sang with the a cappella group The Girls Next Door. Since college Sarah has lived in New York and San Francisco where she has worked as an Educator in the Jewish not-for-profit world, at synagogues, universities, retirement homes and other organizations. Sarah is a member of the National Association of Temple Educators and the Coalition for the Advancement of Jewish Education. Sarah is also a trained StorahTelling Educator. When she isn't working hard and studying hard, Sarah loves to cook (and eat!), read, see live music and explore New York with her fiance, Ryan. Sarah is thrilled to be joining such an amazing team at Congregation B'nai Yisrael and looks forward to meeting all of you in the months to come.
