Sarah Wilensky, Director of Jewish Identity Development

Sarah Wilensky, a native of Andover, Massachusetts has a Masters of Arts in Religious Education from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York where she served as the Student President of the School of Education and received the Women in Reform Judaism scholarship award. Sarah received a Bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA where she served on the Executive Board of the College Hillel and was the founder of the college’s first all female a cappella group.

Since college Sarah has lived in New York and San Francisco where she has worked as an Educator in the Jewish not-for-profit world at Congregation Beth Am of Los Altos Hills, California, Columbia University, The Hebrew Home for the Aged, Temple Emanu El of the City of New York, DOROT, Inc. and other organizations. Sarah is a member of the National Association of Temple Educators, the Westchester Fairfield Association of Temple Educators and is also a trained StorahTelling Educator. Sarah loves working with learners of all ages, from young children to their great grandparents, and is excited about being a guide for students along this journey of Jewish Identity Development. When she isn't working hard Sarah loves to cook (and eat!), read, see live music and explore New York with her husband, Ryan.
