We moved from Stamford, CT to the Armonk area in the summer of 2015 and started to research temples where we might want to join to enroll our 2 children in Hebrew school. We found that CBY welcomed us with open arms (and it didn’t hurt that their wonderful new education director, Melissa Cohavi, came from our temple in Stamford). Engaging with CBY was a very comfortable way to integrate into the neighborhood. I love that we are seeing the same families in temple, school, sports and around town. CBY is truly integral to the community.
I was honored to be asked to be on the Board. I hope that I can leverage my deep business and human resources experience to help guide the temple for the future. I am looking forward to helping ensure that CBY continues to evolve and give the best possible Jewish education and experience for all congregants.
