Moving to Armonk with my family in 2013 was a return to my roots, having grown up not too far from the Armonk border in Chappaqua. I have many wonderful memories from my reform synagogue there, and I was eager to find a community in Armonk where I could foster these similar experiences for my children. My husband’s family suffered greatly in Germany during the Holocaust and this connection adds to our desire to ground our family in the Jewish faith, honor those relatives we lost, and create a strong foundation for future generations of our family.

For us, Judaism means family connections, traditions, and doing all that we can to help people in our community and beyond. In that spirit, I am thrilled to part of the CBY Board and to support the incredible programs this synagogue offers. As a former publicist and current copy writer, I hope to utilize my skill set to help CBY continue to grow and provide a spiritual home for our community. I have enjoyed getting to know the congregation, and the wonderful clergy and staff that makes CBY such a warm and welcoming place.
