Welcome to the Brotherhood of Congregation B’nai Yisrael of Armonk. The Brotherhood is a vehicle for you to meet and socialize with other men in a relaxed and fun setting- It’s about friendship. Whether you are a young member of CBY or a veteran, the Brotherhood welcomes and wants you.

If you’re a music buff, this is for you. This program can accommodate between 8 and 32 participants. You select a series of songs across a variety of genres you feel are the best of all time. Songs are then played in pairs, with participants having an opportunity to explain their choices. The winning song in each pairing advances to the next level until only one song remains. Film Club:

Watch a film selected by committee at your convenience from one of several popular streaming channels (e.g. Netflix, HULU or Amazon Prime). We get together on an online video conference to discuss what we like about the film, what we didn’t like and what if anything moved us. Annual Brunch:
We are also looking into the viability of a having virtual brunch with speaker. More details to follow.
JETY (Jewish Teen Youth) Award
The Brotherhood is proud to annually recognize those students who best exemplify Jewish teen life through their participation in programs that promote Jewish identity and Jewish culture, such as BBYO, NFTY, CBY’s student internship program, or other programs that underscore a commitment to Jewish life and Jewish ideals. The CBY Brotherhood’s mission is to provide a platform for male congregants to get to know each other and develop relationships in a casual social setting. The Brotherhood will focus on creating a sense of community through fun programs, fellowship, service and educational opportunities.
